Today I’ve been to Helsingborg for some sightseeing with my friends. After a few hours spent walking around town, seeing Dunkers Kulturhus, S:ta Maria Kyrka and Kärnan, we decided to take the boat to Helsingör (if you are in Helsingborg, you must do it!). After a nice 20 minutes trip on the sea, we reached the other side. It was too late to get a map because the tourist info was already closed. Anyway we decided to roam freely. The first thing you should notice in Helsingör is Kronborg (yeah, Shakespeare’s Hamlet). We took some unsuccessful photos of the castle and did some alcohol shopping in town (It wasn’t far more cheaper than in Sweden but it’s cheaper nonetheless). When we all felt tired, we took a boat back to Helsingborg. As we were passing the policemen with a dog, I couldn’t prevent myself touching that cute dog. After a few steps further, I heard some Swedish voices behind me and as soon as I turned my back, I realised that it was me. One of the guys immediately asked my nationality and wanted me to empty my pockets as he was examining my backpack (inside were: a 35cl Jägermeister, a banana, a bottle of water, an empty flask, mint candies etc.). Nothing narcotic at all? He zipped my backpack and disposed some rubbish came from my pockets and finally let me go. I couldn’t figure it out why but I can advise you to not to touch a narcotics dog in any way. I felt like a criminal for a few minutes, haha.
