What’s a dish you think should be a part of a traditional Christmas dinner even though it isn’t and why?
One thing that has been a tradition during my childhood but perhaps not in other people’s homes is Wasa cinnamon crackers. The cinnamon makes them feel very Christmassy and comforting. We always eat them during the Christmas breakfast, and they taste just fantastic with a cup of coffee to wake you up and put you in a real Christmassy mood.
Which is the worst Christmas song?
All I want for Christmas is you. It’s so obnoxiously irritating and people actually listen to it! And they listen to it unironically, and that’s something I can never understand.
How do you make your home feel “Christmassy”?
Well, no matter how many candles you light and no matter how many Christmas decorations you put up, what really puts me in that Christmas mood is having friends and family near.
What’s your favorite “weird” food combo?
It’s not a combo, but the best snack has to be frozen peas. Apart from that, I always need to have carrot sticks readily available.
If your life was a movie, what would be the soundtrack?
Tom Cochrane – Life is a Highway
What would the title of your autobiography be?
Life is a Highway
