I eat it this way and I’m not ashamed of it! I am very surprised that a few of my friends have found it bizarre that I eat peanut butter AND nutella this way. Why is this an act that perhaps only depressed housewives would do? Is it a European thing that you can’t also have an apple in one hand and a large spoon of spread in the other? Maybe it’s an American thing, like how we eat pizza with our hands while Europeans usually use a knife and fork. Is it a cleanliness thing? A politeness thing? I see it as a way of having less to wash, but to each his own I guess.
